Dr. Hossain is board eligible in neurology and joins Inova Medical Group with over 15 years of clinical experience. His special interests include management of behavioral neurology, dementia, neuropsychiatric conditions, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, neuromuscular disorders (EMG/NCS), epilepsy, seizure disorders, stroke, migraine headaches, movement disorders, ADHD and ADD. He also provides specific treatments for back and neck pain and fibromyalgia.
Dr. Hossain serves as an assistant professor on the faculty of Virginia Commonwealth University, Inova Campus where he mentors medical students. His goal is to help patients by diagnosing and managing their neurologic and psychiatric conditions so that they can be fully functional in their personal, professional and social lives.
Dr. Hossain lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and children. He enjoys outdoor sports, gardening and spending time with his family.
