Inpatient Programs Inova Rehabilitation Center inpatient program includes a 67-bed rehabilitation unit at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. On the unit, patient rooms encircle the nursing station so that patients receive maximum supervision and nurses can respond more quickly to patients' needs.
Outpatient Programs Sometimes people do not require hospitalization but need rehabilitative care to fully heal and return to the fullest life possible. Inova Rehabilitation Center offers a comprehensive outpatient program. Patients who receive acute inpatient rehabilitation at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital continue to be followed by the same physiatrists (rehab physicians) during their outpatient treatment.
