In times of grief, you don't have to be alone.
A sudden loss. A national tragedy. At Inova, our hearts go out to the students and families deeply affected by the devastating events that unfolded on the campus of Virginia Tech. The pain of this horrific act is being felt across the country. It is at these times that we learn the value of community. Inova has opened a special grief counseling center and an ongoing summer support group for students and families of Virginia Tech at no charge. Our grief counselors are ready to listen, provide tools and resources, and community referrals. Whether we mourn a loved one – or we’re just trying to make sense of a senseless act – the healing process begins when we reach out for help. To speak to a counselor, call 703-204-2122. For information about support groups call 703-218-8500.
