Corporate and Foundation Giving
Inova Health System has long enjoyed partnerships with corporations and foundations. Through corporate giving, foundation grants, in-kind donations, marketing activities and sponsorships, the business and philanthropic community plays an important role in helping Inova advance health care throughout our region.
Many opportunities exist for corporations and foundations of all sizes to benefit existing programs and research. In addition, many new programs are in development and need the right partner to make them a reality.
If you are an officer of a corporation, own a family business or represent a private foundation, there are many options for you to consider for your charitable giving. Here are some of the options:
- Corporate Giving -- Direct cash gifts. These gifts often times are designated to one of our hospitals, a center of excellence (e.g., cancer, cardiac), a special outreach program or patient population, or a health-related issue.
- Foundation Grants -- Many corporate foundations support Inova programs by awarding cash grants to support a project. Foundation Grants usually are restricted to a specific project or program and made through a private foundation or a company-funded foundation.
- In-kind Donation -- Corporate partners have sponsored specific programs through in-kind gifts of products and/or services. Depending on the needs of our hospitals, programs and various services, as well as our capacity to use products and services effectively, Inova can benefit greatly from in-kind gifts of products and/or services.
- Marketing -- Marketing and promotional opportunities are available. These opportunities help support key health initiatives, and at the same time, complement your business goals.
