Inova understands the importance of flexibility and work/life balance and has a progressive approach to accommodate our employees' individual needs.
Paid time off (PTO)
Inova employees receive a bank of days each year for use as you wish. Rather than designating separate days for vacation, holidays, personal days or sick time, Inova offers you a pool of PTO hours to use for any approved leave. Employees who are budgeted to work 16 hours or more begin to accrue PTO hours on the first day of work.
Bereavement leave
Full-time employees can take up to three days of leave directly after the death of an immediate family member to make arrangements and attend the funeral. If more time is required, PTO hours may be used. Employees who are budgeted to work 16 to 35 hours are eligible for bereavement leave on a prorated basis.
