What You'll Learn
As an Inova respiratory therapy intern, you will experience 10 months of clinical rotations through 7 intensive care units, including pediatric and adult emergency departments, in addition to our Level 1 Trauma Center. The internship program is focused heavily on critical care patient management and uses clinical, didactic and simulation education to develop patient assessment and management skills. Simulations will be provided using our state-of-the-art simulation centers, the Inova Center for Advanced Medical Simulation (ICAMS) and the Advanced Surgical Technology and Education Center (ASTEC).
