Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Graduate Fellow, you will communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others while having respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines. To help achieve our mission, you will use an integrated approach toward achieving desired patient outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning. Providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor is of vital importance. Demonstrating leadership skills in decision making and problem solving while providing knowledgeable/caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients, families, nurses and healthcare delivery teams is required. Your ability to consistently provide safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way by incorporating differences into the provision of care is essential.

  • Utilizes standards, guidelines and pathways for care delivery.
  • Determines process for delivery of care from direct patient/family communication, technology and other healthcare team member collaboration.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Incorporates research findings into nursing practice.
