Inova Fair Oaks Hospital Medical Unit is seeking an experienced RN FELLOW who is a capable and caring clinician, focused on expanding knowledge and skills; consistently provides effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a diverse medical patient population.

The Medical unit has 36 comfortably appointed, private inpatient rooms. The unit includes a relaxation room for staff in addition to a staff locker/break room. We are a dynamic group who respect and encourage teamwork and peer to peer recognition and mentoring. Staff is actively involved in Shared Governance through committee work, both on the unit and hospital level; ensuring that nurses are involved in decision making and have a voice at all levels of the organization. More than six months of Registered Nurse clinical experience
BLS, American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider certification required.
RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
Accredited School of nursing.
BSN or AD
If RN has an AD, within 6 months of start date the RN must meet with their nurse leader and
Identify which Accredited School the employee plans to attend
Submit a review of transcript from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses
Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date.
Complete BSN within 24 months of start date
