Background Information

The purpose of this study is to collect data about symptoms and cognitive performance from breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. The results of this study will support the development of methods to detect cancer-related cognitive impairment in breast cancer patients. Participants will use the MindCap smartphone app to take brief surveys and tests (less than 15 minutes per session) before, during, and after the conclusion of chemotherapy treatment.

Eligibility Information

  • Breast cancer patients 18 years of age or older
  • Prescribed but has not yet begun chemotherapy
  • Participants must own and be able to operate a smartphone and have general familiarity and experience with smartphone applications
  • Additional eligibility in protocol
