About Danielle Leshinsky
Danielle joined the Inova Mount Vernon Outpatient Neurorehabilitation team as a Physical Therapist in 2019. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with neurological disorders.
Danielle graduated in 2016 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University. While at Emory University, she worked as a Graduate Assistant in a lab researching neuroplasticity mechanisms after Spinal Cord Injury, and as a Teaching Assistant for DPT courses. She volunteered with Adaptive Rock Climbing, and taught SPINNING and Pilates classes.
Danielle became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2018. She has experience working with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She has a special interest in Parkinson's disease, Spinal Cord Injury, and Multiple Sclerosis. In her spare time she enjoys working with adaptive sports, hiking, and fostering dogs.
