About Jeannie Koulizakis, MPT
Jeannie received a bachelor's degree from Purdue University is 1993 and continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University where she earned her master's degree in physical therapy in 2000. As a Pilates for Rehab certified PT, she specializes in the treatment of neck and back disorders focusing on core stabilization, strengthening, and daily life/ functional activity re-education that help address root cause management of degenerative spine and joint conditions. Jeannie is also a certified office ergonomics specialist, able to evaluate workspaces and make reasonable accommodation recommendations designed to significantly reduce the postural risks known to cause muscle and skeletal disorders.
Jeannie is a native of Northern Virginia and her father, Dr. Evangelos Koulizakis, MD, was one of the first orthopedic surgeons to serve Inova when it was still known as Fairfax Hospital. She enjoys a car-free diet, walking everywhere possible, traveling the world and spending time with her family and friends.
