About Jennifer Gnerlich, MD

Dr. Jennifer Gnerlich is a board certified, specialty care physician in general surgery and complex general surgical oncology. She specializes in upper GI cancers and carcinomatosis.

The doctor-patient relationship is what drew Dr. Gnerlich to cancer surgery. She believes that honesty and transparency is important during a person’s journey with cancer, and she strives to create an individualized plan for each patient with input from all medical specialties.

A native to the Chicago area, Dr. Gnerlich now lives in Northern Virginia. In her spare time, she likes running, hiking, and jigsaw puzzles.
