Nancy BowlesNancy Bowles, BSN, RN, MHA, OCN®, CRNI®, NEA-BC, CPC, CHONC, is the Vice President of Nursing at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute.

Nancy is an accomplished clinical oncology professional with over three decades of experience leading cancer centers and oncology service lines. Nancy has dedicated her entire career to oncology and is fascinated in the advancements that has happen during her tenure. Her passion lies in helping patients throughout their cancer journey. She is very active in team member professional development, new patient education and program development. Nancy also serves as a Director-At-Large for the Infusion Nurses Society (INS).

Prior to joining Inova, she was the Vice President of the James Graham Brown Cancer Center (part of the University of Louisville) and the Associate Vice President of the Norton Cancer Institute both in Louisville, Kentucky.

Nancy has working in oncology for most of her career. Her passion lies in helping patients throughout their cancer journey. She leads patient education and plays an active role on the INS Board of Directors.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from McKendree University and a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Webster University. She holds certifications in Oncology Nursing, Infusion Nursing, as Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified, as a Certified Professional Coder and as a Certified Hematology Oncology Coder.
