The Inova Trauma Center is proud to sponsor an inside look at trauma care through our trauma acute care surgery externship.
This program is designed for premedical students considering a career in surgery. A full-time, two-week commitment is required for students to gain insight and experience within the continuum of trauma care.
The 2024 deadline to apply for the Trauma Acute Care Surgery Externship has passed. Information and application documents for the 2025 Externship will be posted by the beginning of November 2024.
