Dr. ChandRaj Chand, MD, FAAEM, serves as Interim President of Inova Loudoun Hospital and is a practicing emergency medicine physician. Dr. Chand’s inclusive approach helps transform organizational culture through initiatives that foster psychological safety, innovation leadership and the mentoring of emerging leaders.

Over the past two decades, Dr. Chand has advanced through a range of clinical and administrative leadership roles, including President of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, Interim President of Inova's Medicine Service Line (3,100 team members), Chief Medical Officer of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, and President of Virginia Emergency Medicine Associates.

Dr. Chand earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency at George Washington University, where he served as chief resident. He serves on the board of directors of Northern Virginia Community College, the nation's third-largest community college, strengthening educational partnerships that support healthcare workforce development.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Chand can be found running, working out at F45 and Orangetheory, or immersed in a good book or podcast. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two teenage children and a spirited Havanese dog who keeps the family on their toes.
