Eligibility Information

  • 21-80 years of age
  • Diagnosis of interstitial lung disease
  • World Health Organization (WHO) functional class II or III (class I or IV with certain exceptions)
  • Echocardiogram showing absence of pulmonary hypertension
  • No syncope or significant chest pain for at least one month
  • No pulmonary rehabilitation within the last 6 months and is not currently in a maintenance program
  • Physically inactive (<30 minutes of exercise on 3 or more days a week within the last 6 months)
