Background Information

The purpose of this study is to create a repository of coded specimens and data to support and advance future research studies for pregnancy-related disorders.

Eligibility Information

  • Mother: Pregnant, age 18 years or older
  • Participants must have at least one obstetrical condition. The list below is not all inclusive
    • Previa or creta
    • Preterm labor
    • Preeclampsia or pregnancy induced hypertension
    • Diabetes
    • Intrauterine growth restriction
    • Coagulopathy
    • BMI > 40
    • Oligohydramnios
    • Multiples
    • Chorioamnionitis
    • Abnormal dopplers
    • Inherited red blood cell disorders (sickle cell anemia)
    • Any obstetrical condition requiring amniocentesis (e.g., fetal infection, genetic testing, polyhydramnios, etc.) 
    • Participants must provide written consent and HIPAA authorization for the protocol
