Background Information

The purpose of this study is to create a resource to help researchers study early detection and prevention of pancreatic cancer. This study will collect clinical information, family history, and biological samples from individuals and families at risk for pancreatic cancer. This study is offered in collaboration with the Inova Saville Cancer Screening and Prevention Center.

Eligibility Information

The study will accrue subjects to several different cohorts who present for risk assessment at one of the participating sites based on history of:

  • Ages 18 – 90 years
  • One or more family members with PDAC
  • A pathogenic or likely pathogenic germline variant in a gene linked to PDAC risk
  • Personal history of PDAC with PGV in genes of research interest and/or part of a Familial Pancreatic Cancer kindred
  • Additional eligibility per cohort in protocol

Ineligibility Information

  • History of PDAC presenting for an evaluation who do not meet eligibility criteria as stated in protocol
  • Individuals who are otherwise engaged in pancreas surveillance at a participating site
  • Additional ineligibility in protocol
