The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses
The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, a young man whose life was cut short by autoimmune disease. His family strongly desired to establish a recognition program for nurses to express their gratitude for the skillful and compassionate care Patrick received from his nurses during his hospitalization. Today, that award is called The DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses.
The PEACH Award – Honor a Non-Nursing Team Member
The PEACH Award was created to recognize non-nursing Inova team members who provide an exemplary experience for our patients and their families and excel in their professions. PEACH award winners display a positive attitude, provide excellent healthcare, and are compassionate, caring and helpful.
