Each academic year, VCU School of Pharmacy’s Inova Campus enrolls up to 20 students who choose to complete their final two years (P3 and P4) on the campus of Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia, just minutes from Washington, DC.

Inova's commitment to patient care, research and education, combined with a long tradition of collaboration with VCU Medical College of Virginia provides an exceptional learning opportunity. At Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova's flagship hospital, students gain the experience of studying at a world-class medical center. The location affords students the opportunity to work with an ethnically and culturally diverse patient population, committed medical staff and a full scope of patient care services.

The Inova Campus is dedicated to providing students with a high-quality education. The smaller class size translates to a great faculty-to-student ratio. Using interactive videoconferencing technologies, students stay connected to educational and student activities on the MCV Campus in Richmond.

Inova’s proximity to our nation’s capital also allows students to take advantage of a wide array of career and networking opportunities. The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American Pharmacists Association, American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Food and Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health and United States Pharmacopeia all are headquartered in the Washington, DC, metro area.
