Why choose Inova?

All Immunization RN's, new and returning, attend a re-orientation and refresher course at the beginning of every flu season. Our nurses are highly skilled and are re-trained annually on the most up to date practices published by the CDC and Virginia Department of Health.

From the moment you schedule a clinic or arrive at one, our staff and volunteers are ready to assist you every step of the way. We provide educational and promotional materials and schedule a time to best suit your needs. We provide a copy of your consent form on the spot so that you have information to take home about potential side effects and a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We value our extremely-satisfied clients, many of whom return year after year, and appreciate their compliments and gratitude.

We offer clinic locations where you work or where you live. With over 1,000 Inova-sponsored clinics each year, we can meet your needs. Regular clinics from September through December are held at each of our Inova hospitals and Urgent Care Centers. Clinics are also held at convenient community locations such as libraries, recreation centers and church halls.

Inova's hospital-based clinics are an easy and convenient way for your children to receive an annual flu shot. Unlike most commercial flu shot clinics, Inova's hospital clinics make it easy for your entire family to receive a flu shot. (Infants must be at least six months old to receive the vaccine.)
