Amanda is a Registered Dietitian with board certification as a nutrition support clinician (CNSC) who joined the Inova Schar Cancer Institute and Life with Cancer in October 2023. Amanda grew up in Northern Virginia before completing her bachelor's degree in dietetics at James Madison University. She then went on to earn her master's degree in nutrition and dietetics while completing her dietetic internship at the University of North Florida.
Since 2014 Amanda has enjoyed providing medical nutrition therapy for medical and surgical oncology patients in the hospital setting and looks forward to expanding this experience to the outpatient setting.
