About Anna M. BuAbbud, MD

Dr. Anna BuAbbud is a specialty care physician board certified in obstetrics and gynecology at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2012.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. BuAbbud worked as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences and as an obstetrician gynecologist with George Washington Medical Faculty Associates in Washington, DC. Dr. BuAbbud received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. She completed OB-GYN residency at George Washington University Hospital where she served as administrative chief resident.

Dr. BuAbbud’s clinical interests include preventative care, contraception, abnormal uterine bleeding, minimally invasive surgery, office procedures, and nutrition and exercise in pregnancy. She is passionate about medical education and is honored to have the ability to care for people throughout their lives. Dr. BuAbbud looks forward to providing individualized and compassionate care in partnership with her patients.

Outside the office, Dr. BuAbbud enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with her family.
