About Anum Hasan, DO

Dr. Anum Hasan is a primary care physician board eligible in family medicine at Inova Health System. She rejoined Inova in 2012 and has been practicing as a primary care physician since 2020.

Prior to the new role, Dr. Hasan was a chief family medicine resident at SOVAH Health in Danville, VA.

Dr. Hasan’s clinical areas of interest include hypertension, diabetes, women’s health and preventive medicine. She strives to provide quality healthcare to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds and enjoys taking care of entire families, from newborns to grandparents. Her patient care philosophy is to treat patients with the same compassion, respect and dedication that she would want for those closest to her. Dr. Hasan’s patient care goals are to incorporate shared decision marking, empower patients to advocate for themselves, and provide patients with the knowledge and resources to manage their health.

Outside the office, Dr. Hasan enjoys going on mission trips, traveling, exploring nature and spending time with her family.
