About Brian J. DeCastro, MD
Dr. Brian DeCastro is a specialty care physician board certified in urology at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2003.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. DeCastro worked as a urologist at Fauquier Health Urology, Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA.
Dr. DeCastro grew up near Syracuse, NY. After earning his medical degree from Upstate Medical University in 2002, he completed his urologic training at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Dr. DeCastro practiced as an Army urologist at Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart, GA, until he was honorably discharged in 2013 after 11 years of service. Since then, he has been practicing in Northern Virginia.
Dr. DeCastro believes that the patient always comes first and thrives on helping others. His clinical areas of interest include kidney stones, low testosterone, ED, BPH, urologic malignancies, vasectomies as well as many other urologic conditions. He has been featured in Northern Virginia Magazine’s Top Docs.
