Dr. Caroline Bockus is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. She joins Inova 360° Concierge Medicine with more than eight years of clinical experience.

Dr. Bockus has a special interest in wellness through preventive care, management of chronic diseases, weight management and patient-centered primary care. She earned her undergraduate degree from the United States Naval Academy, where she studied international relations. She completed medical school and her internal medicine residency at George Washington University. She later served as the health unit physician at the U.S. Embassy in Algeria. These diverse experiences have shaped her appreciation for teamwork and collaboration in navigating complex healthcare challenges.

Most recently, Dr. Bockus served as an assistant professor of medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she was a primary care physician and educated future physicians. Dr. Bockus values developing long-term relationships with her patients and partnering with them to create healthcare plans that fit their lives and goals. She enjoys working collaboratively with patients to help them reach their full health potential, with a focus on both preventive care and thoughtful management of chronic conditions.

A native of Cincinnati, Dr. Bockus currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, three sons and their rescue dog. While she loves to travel globally, she is now happily exploring all that Northern Virginia has to offer. She is an avid runner and an amateur gardener.
