Dr. Claire Huang Lucas is a specialty care cardiologist board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. She joined Inova in 2024 and has been committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-focused care since beginning her medical career in 2018.
Before joining Inova, Dr. Huang Lucas completed her cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Texas Health in Houston, where she also earned a cardio-oncology certification from the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her clinical expertise includes advanced cholesterol and blood pressure management, lifestyle change counseling, calcium score analysis and cardiometabolic health risk assessment.
With dual board certification in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Huang Lucas brings advanced proficiency in state-of-the-art imaging techniques to evaluate heart function and diagnose a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Her clinical approach emphasizes preventive medicine, clear communication and collaborative care – ensuring patients feel informed, empowered and actively involved in their health journey.
