About David M. DeMaria, MD

Dr. David DeMaria is a specialty care physician board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and echocardiography with a clinical focus on cardiac imaging. He joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2013.

Dr. DeMaria’s special interests include preventative medicine, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, and management of arrhythmias.

Dr. DeMaria was drawn to cardiology early in his medical career for the challenges it brings, and enjoys being a student of the field. His passion is utilizing advanced imaging techniques to detect cardiovascular disease at its earliest stages. He enjoys working with patients to build preventive individualized care plans to reduce their risk and improve long-term outcomes.

Dr. DeMaria currently lives in Prince William County with his wife, daughter and son. He is an avid runner, rower and sports fan.
