About Deepani Hettitantri, MD

Dr. Deepani Dias is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She joins Inova Medical Group with over 18 years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in management of chronic medical problems, women's health, preventive care and skin conditions.

Dr. Dias became interested in family medicine because of the diversity of the care she can deliver. She loves that she gets the chance to see all the members of a given family and the fact that she can develop a long-term relationship based on the mutual trust to promote their health and wellbeing. Her final goal is to improve the overall health of the community she serves. As a Primary Care Physician she offers a wide range of care to the community. Some of these services are disease prevention, early detection and intervention before long term complication develops.

A native of Sri Lanka, Dr. Dias currently resides in Haymarket, Virginia with her husband and their two children. In her spare time she likes photography, gardening and spending time with the family.
