About Emily Ngan, MD

Dr. Emily Ngan is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist. She joined Inova in 2021 and has been practicing since 2017.  She has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, fibroids, contraception, routine/high-risk obstetrics and promoting enhanced recovery after surgery.

Dr. Ngan chose a career in women’s health because of the unique opportunity to develop long-term patient relationships while providing cutting-edge surgical and medical care. She strives to create an environment where patients feel safe in order to deliver evidence-based care that fits each individual’s needs.  

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Ngan worked in La Jolla, CA, but she is a native of the east coast and is excited to be back home serving women of the Washington, DC, region.
