Dr. Erica Ludi is a specialty care physician board certified in surgery at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2016.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Ludi was a general surgery resident at Emory University Department of Surgery in Atlanta.
Dr. Ludi maintains a broad surgical practice, managing various pathologies pertaining to the abdominal wall, gallbladder, breast, colon, thyroid, skin and soft tissue. She received a certificate of distinction for finishing the global and rural surgery track during residency and completed a two-year research fellowship in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She enjoys working with underserved and Latin American patients, as well as those with urgent surgical needs. After majoring in psychology at her undergraduate institution, Dr. Ludi strives to reduce anxiety and allay patients’ fears before, during and after surgery while providing technically excellent care.
Outside the office, Dr. Ludi enjoys rafting, canoeing, camping, traveling, trying new restaurants, playing volleyball and soccer, and spending time with family. She is fluent in Spanish.
