About Homaira Behsudi-Wali, MD

Dr. Homaira Behsudi-Wali is a board-certified primary care physician. She has special interest in the management and prevention of chronic diseases, while also taking care of acute and routine conditions. She joined Inova Medical Group with more than 20 years of clinical experience.

She enjoys working with patients in treating their underlying conditions and empowering them to be an informed and dignified member of their treatment team. She is interested in women's health, and adolescents.

Dr. Behsudi-Wali believes in functional and preventive medicine. Her goal is to help her patients prevent or delay the development of common and debilitating chronic conditions.

In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Behsudi-Wali also received a master's degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University. A native of Afghanistan, she currently resides in Vienna, VA, with her husband and their children. In her spare time, she likes to travel, spend time with family and friends and do community and charity work.
