About Jessica Wertz, DO

Dr. Wertz is a specialty care physician board certified in family and sports medicine. She has special interests in prevention and management of all types of sports injuries as well as concussion, osteopathic manipulation, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Previously Dr. Wertz has served as a team physician for Ohio State, McDaniel College and Mount Saint Mary's.

Dr. Wertz became interested in sports medicine because of her background as a Division 1 collegiate gymnast. Her goal is to provide individualized care to her patients so they can recover quickly and return to the activities they enjoy.

A native of Ohio, Dr. Wertz currently resides in central Maryland with her husband Dr. Tag, daughter Taylor, son Teague and dog Cabo. In her spare time, she enjoys running and staying active as well as spending time with her family.
