About Jonathan H. Wills, MD

Dr. Jonathan Wills is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeon specializing in pediatric, adult, and geriatric fracture care. He first joined Inova in 2013 as a medical scribe and returned in 2015 as a research fellow. He has been practicing since 2018.

Most recently, Dr. Wills served as an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellow at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute/Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL.

Dr. Wills attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, VA, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

A Virginia native, Dr. Wills was born at Inova Fairfax Hospital. He attended Thomas Jefferson High School and earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in physiology from the University of Virginia. Prior to medical school, he worked as a research assistant at Georgetown University, served as an EMT with the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad, and worked as a scribe in the Inova Fairfax Emergency Department.

Dr. Wills currently resides in Annandale with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, golfing, skiing, and cheering on UVA sports and the Baltimore Ravens.
