About Jonathan H. Wills, MD

Dr. Jonathan Wills is a specialty care physician board certified in orthopedic surgery, specializing in pediatric, adult and genetic fracture care. He first joined Inova in 2013 as a medical scribe and rejoined in 2015 as a research fellow. He has been practicing since 2018.

Most recently, Dr. Wills was an orthopedic trauma fellow at Florida Orthopaedic Institute and Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL.

Dr. Wills attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, VA, where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Beta honor societies. He went on to complete his orthopedic residency at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Dr. Wills is a Virginia native, born at Inova Fairfax Hospital. He attended Thomas Jefferson High School and completed his undergraduate and master’s degree in physiology at the University of Virginia. Prior to medical school, he was a research assistant at Georgetown University, an EMT with Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad, and a scribe at Inova Fairfax Hospital’s emergency department. Dr. Wills currently resides in Annandale with his wife and two children.

In his free time, Dr. Wills enjoys cooking, playing golf, skiing, and rooting for UVA sports and the Baltimore Ravens.
