About Kate E. Kinnaird, MD

Dr. Kate Kinnaird is a specialty care physician board certified in endocrinology, as well as a primary care physician board certified in Internal Medicine. She joined Inova Medical Group with more than eight years of clinical experience. She has a special interest in management of endocrine conditions, particularly diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis and thyroid disorders.

Dr. Kinnaird enjoys forming relationships with her patients to promote their overall health and wellness. She has an interest in how nutrition, activity and other lifestyle factors can impact one’s health. She strives to help her patients understand their medical conditions and treatment options to promote collaboration toward improved health.

Dr. Kinnaird currently resides in Arlington, Virginia, with her husband and two daughters. Her pastimes include spending time with her family, bread making, fruit and vegetable gardening and traveling.
