About Kendall Hancock, MD
Kendall Hancock, MD is a third-year resident with the Fairfax Family Medicine Residency Program. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She attended medical school at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
Her medical areas of interest include women's health/obstetrics and academic medicine. She loved this program when she interviewed here – everyone was so kind and friendly during her interview day, and she felt like she could visualize herself working well with this group of people. She also really liked the way the program's curriculum was organized. The intern year is tough with a lot of inpatient rotations, but it allows interns to spend more time with outpatient medicine in our second and third years. This program has been a great fit for her so far, and she feels that it will allow her to continue to grow into an excellent family medicine doctor.
Kendall's non-medical areas of interest include spending time outside, mostly running and hiking with her dog, exploring the DC area and trying new restaurants, cooking and baking, reading for fun when she has extra free time, and spending time with friends and family.
