About Kiersten M. Bezold, FNP

Kiersten Bezold is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She joined Inova in 2019 and has been practicing as a nurse since 2016.

Prior to her new role, Kiersten worked as a registered nurse at Inova Women’s Hospital in labor and delivery.

Kiersten received her master’s in nursing from George Washington University in Washington, DC, and her bachelor’s in nursing from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Kiersten’s clinical areas of interest include preconception planning and obstetric care, gynecological concerns, and management of contraception.

Kiersten first became interested in women’s health while working as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Georgetown University Hospital with the main goal to provide a safe environment for women throughout all stages of life. This love for women’s health only continued during her time in labor and delivery. She values listening to her patients and creating trusting relationships in which the patient feels heard. Kiersten seeks to provide her patients with education and resources they need in order to make the best informed decisions regarding their personal health.

A Northern Virginia native, Kiersten is a huge Washington Capitals fan. Outside the office, she enjoys skiing, lifting weights, reading and spending time with her family.
