Dr. Laura Wang Billiet is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over a decade of clinical experience, specializing in preventive care, chronic disease management, women’s health and patient-centered primary care. She is passionate about partnering with patients to navigate complex medical issues and optimize long term health through personalized, evidence-based care.
Dr. Billiet earned her undergraduate degree in religious studies at Pomona College, focusing on Eastern religions, before pursuing medicine. She completed her medical training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and subsequently, her residency in internal medicine at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Her diverse experiences living abroad in Paris, Nepal, China and Brussels have shaped her global perspective and deepened her appreciation for cultural nuance in healthcare.
Most recently, Dr. Billiet served as a Medical Lead at Forward, providing comprehensive primary care while shaping clinical policies and supporting multidisciplinary teams. Before that, she practiced internal medicine at Inova in Vienna, VA. She is keenly interested in leveraging health technology to safely and effectively advance patient care.
Dr. Billiet believes in a holistic approach to health, emphasizing the importance of exercise and nutrition as pillars of disease prevention. She finds immense fulfillment in the art of medicine — creatively problem-solving alongside her patients to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.
Dr. Billiet lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and three sons. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, hiking and exploring the outdoors with her family.
