Dr. Laura Wang Billiet is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. She joined Inova after finishing her residency at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, in 2015. She has a special interest in management of women’s health and in integrative and preventative medicine practices.
Most recently Dr. Billiet obtained her medical doctor equivalence for the European system by completing several courses and passing exams in Brussels, Belgium.
Dr. Billiet became interested in internal medicine because she enjoys the challenge of the variety and the complexity of diseases seen by internists. She chose outpatient medicine because it is important to her to have long-term, trust-based relationships with her patients. Her goal is to work together with her patients to help them achieve happy, healthy lives.
A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Billiet currently resides in Fairfax, VA, with her husband and their 2 young sons. In her spare time she likes to read, hike and play with her kids.
