Dr. Leah Allbright is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist. She joined Inova as an OB-GYN physician in 2021 after completing her OB-GYN residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital, where she served as Chief of Academics.

Dr. Allbright offers and is passionate about comprehensive, evidence-based care of women throughout their life: from adolescence to pregnancy and childbirth, birth control and sterilization, management of routine preventative health screening, abnormal uterine bleeding and menopause. She believes in a patient-centered, Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, LGBTQIA+ Centered Health, and Trans/Non-Binary Health (Gender-Affirming Care). She is trained in SpinningBabies®, utilizing maternal positioning to facilitate easier labor and delivery. Her patient-care philosophy centers on empowering patients to advocate for their own health needs to make informed autonomous decisions.

Dr. Allbright performs the full scope of office gynecology as well as minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including laparoscopy, operative hysteroscopy, and endometrial ablative surgery.

A Northern Virginia native, Dr. Allbright enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her family, traveling, singing, and practicing Pure Barre.
