L. Patricia Susemihl, MD is a pediatric physician board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She speaks English and Spanish. Dr. Susemilh received her medical education at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and was accepted for Residency with the Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children Pediatric Residency Program.

Dr. Susemihl believes in the power of education. She leads the clinic "Reach Out and Read" program, through which every child from age 6 months to 5 years receives an age and language appropriate book at every well-child visit. When she has a few moments to relax, she enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, knitting, and spending time outdoors.
