About Margaret H. Strickland, MD

Dr. Margaret Strickland is a specialty care physician board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She joined Inova Medical Group in 2020 with more than four years of clinical experience. She has special interests in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, routine and high-risk obstetrics and postpartum wellness.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Strickland served in the United States Navy for eight years, providing care for patients at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and most recently in Iwakuni, Japan.

Dr. Strickland became interested in OB-GYN because of its unique blend of primary care and surgery and the opportunity to develop long-lasting patient relationships. Her goal is to help her patients understand their bodies and their conditions, to listen to their concerns, and to foster shared-decision making when choosing treatment options.

Dr. Strickland resides in Falls Church, VA, with her husband. In her spare time, she likes to run, do yoga, watch cooking shows and attempt DIY home-improvement projects with her husband.
