About Mary T. Conell, FNP

Mary Conell is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with additional certification in adult-gerontology acute care. She joined Inova in 2015 and has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 2018.

With dual specialization in family and acute care medicine - earned through Georgetown University and Purdue University - Mary provides a broad, well-rounded clinical perspective. Her extensive background in emergency and critical care equips her to confidently evaluate and manage both routine and complex medical conditions across the lifespan.

Mary is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with her patients. She prioritizes open communication, attentive listening, and shared decision making, emphasizing patient education and preventive care to support long term health and wellness.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling with her family, and exploring new cuisines.
