About Mary T. Dunn, CNM

Mary Dunn is a certified nurse midwife. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland with a Master of Science in nursing specializing in midwifery. She joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2017.

Prior to joining Inova, Mary practiced as a certified nurse midwife at Mary’s Center in Washington, DC, as well as at Shenandoah Community Health Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Mary has had a wide array of labor and birth experience, with her first role being a nurse in a low-intervention Amish birthing center in Ohio. She is passionate about connecting with women during their pregnancy and being a part of their unique birthing experience.

In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Scrappy.
