Melissa Dhas is a women's health nurse practitioner. She joined Inova in 2011 as a registered nurse, working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). After earning her master's degree, she began practicing as a nurse practitioner in 2018.

Melissa enjoys caring for women at every stage of life, from adolescence and the childbearing years through menopause. Her clinical experience enables her to provide comprehensive care across a wide range of women's health needs, including routine preventive care, contraception counseling, management of abnormal bleeding, family planning, pregnancy care, gynecologic concerns, and menopause management. She is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience through compassionate care, attention to detail, clear communication, and evidence-based clinical practice.

Melissa is also a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), providing evidence-based care for the complex symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause. Her expertise includes hormone therapy as well as non-hormonal treatment options, allowing her to tailor care to each patient's individual needs and preferences.

Melissa has lived in Northern Virginia since 2005 and currently resides with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.
