About Michael P. Keith, MD

Dr. Michael Keith is a specialty care physician board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. He joined Inova Medical Group with more than 22 years of clinical experience. He has a special interest in management of gout, calcium pyrophosphate arthritis (pseudogout) and rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr. Keith became interested in rheumatology through his enjoyment of immunology, the continued value of the physical exam in the diagnostic process and the good fortune of being exposed to rheumatology during his third year of medical school. His goal is to help his patients understand their individual rheumatic condition and optimize both their treatment and function.

A native of Burke, Virginia, Dr. Keith currently resides in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife Elizabeth, daughters Nora and Avery and their dog Albus. In his spare time he enjoys running, singing in his church choir, opera and musical theater.
