Dr. Michael Helbig is a specialty care physician board certified in urology. He joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2018.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Helbig was a urologic surgery resident at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. His residency training included rotations at Sibley Memorial Hospital/Johns Hopkins, the National Institutes of Health Urologic Oncology Branch, and the Pediatric Urology Department at Children’s National Hospital.

Outside the office, Dr. Helbig enjoys cooking, exercising, practicing mindfulness meditation and spending time with his family.
