About Mick B. Reedy, MD

Dr. Mick Reedy is a specialty care physician board certified in neurology and a fellowship-trained movement disorders specialist at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2018.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Reedy was a movement disorders fellow at University of California – San Diego, CA. Dr. Reedy specializes in the management of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, ataxia, tic disorders, Huntington’s disease and other movement disorders. He has specialized training in the use of botulinum toxin injections and deep brain stimulation for movement disorders.

Dr. Reedy pursued a medical career in neurology after discovering the neurosciences while attending Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN. He later became interested in movement disorders given their inherit complexity coupled with meaningful pharmacologic and technologic interventions. Dr. Reedy strives to ensure patients and their loved ones feel empowered to best manage their disease, and his goal is to work with each patient to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Reedy currently resides in Washington, DC, with his significant other. He enjoys playing guitar and enjoying jazz, comedy, science fiction and Chicago sports.
