About Mohamad Sidani, MD

Dr. Mohamad “Moe” Sidani is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery and fellowship trained in endocrine surgery. He joined Inova in 2026 and has been practicing since 2021.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Sidani served as assistant professor of surgery and section chief of endocrine surgery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX.

Dr. Sidani earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon in 2013. In 2021, he completed his general surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Oklahoma. He then completed additional fellowship training in endocrine surgery at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. This subspecialty focuses on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disorders.

Dr. Sidani joined Inova to care for patients iwith a wide range of general and endocrine surgery needs. His areas of expertise include robotic minimally invasive surgery, abdominal and inguinal hernias, gallbladder and  appendix disorders, lipomas and other benign skin lesions. He also cares for patients seeking specialized endocrine surgery expertise.

Dr. Sidani and his team use advanced testing and imaging to pinpoint a diagnosis and carefully plan each patient’s surgery – including molecular testing, SPECT sestamibi scans, 4D parathyroid CT scans and DOTATATE PET/CT. During surgery, they use specialized technologies and resources – including nerve monitoring, intraoperative PTH testing, ultrasound and robotic surgery –  to provide the most precise, personalized and safe care possible.
