About Natasha Irving, MD

Dr. Natasha Irving is a specialty care physician board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She joined Inova in 2024 and has been practicing since 2014.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Irving was an obstetrics and gynecology physician at Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group.

Dr. Irving’s clinical areas of interest include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and office-based procedures. She enjoys working with a diverse population of patients and getting to know and understand how their cultures and individual experiences influence their approach to healthcare. Her patient care philosophy is to always remember to treat the patient as a whole.

Dr. Irving’s experiences working in a healthcare setting in Guatemala and Ghana have reaffirmed her understanding of the importance of considering the social, cultural and personal contributions to a patient’s overall health and wellbeing. Her goals when caring for her patients are to educate them, increasing their understanding of their own bodies and health while also encouraging them to be their own healthcare advocates.

Outside the office, Dr. Irving enjoys cooking and traveling, often learning about and cooking dishes from her travels when she returns home. She is also an avid reader of fiction written by Caribbean authors.
