About Nwamaka O. Obi, MD

Dr. Nwamaka Obi is a specialty care physician board certified in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology. She joined Inova Health System in 2021 and has been practicing since 2006.

Dr. Obi did her specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at the George Washington University Hospital. She then moved to Chicago to complete her subspecialty training in maternal-fetal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. 

After completion of her training she joined the Perinatal Associates of Northern Virginia in July of 2013. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists. Dr. Obi has a vested interest in women's healthcare and all aspects of high-risk pregnancies.
